Mary has been successfully been running a number of yoga classes in the workplace over the years. Working with the NHS, teachers, a local authority, advertising and private banking to name a few. Classes cater to the needs of employees and they have become a valued and popular addition to the working week for many employees from practitioner feedback. Participants are able to get some ‘time out’ and opportunity to move away from a sedentary position at a desk. They feel they can de-stress and release tension in body, allowing for a fresh start mentally and to also feel generally more productive.
Mary brings yoga to YOU in your workplace. Whether it’s in the morning, lunchtime or after work, it’s all about yoga at YOUR convenience. Classes are designed for individuals or groups and can be purely on a one off basis to give you a taster or they can be made more regular. If you manage a team of people and are looking for a group activity then yoga is ideal. It’s fun and creates ideal circumstances for a team bonding experience, removing work barriers, increasing confidence/self-esteem and enhancing creativity. Classes are adapted to meet your company needs. The aim being to re-balance and create an overall sense of well-being for practitioners.

“I really appreciate our weekly yoga sessions with you. Our work in the school can be both stressful and rather sedentary, and the weekly yoga sessions makes a perfect antidote to this. I like the way each class concentrates on a particular area or aspect to work on, and am continually surprised by all the ways there are of stretching the body. As a cancer patient in my late fifties, I find these classes both challenging and nurturing. The relaxation at the end is like floating! I only wish I had had the benefit of them when I was younger”

Mary designs classes to focus on specific areas. These classes are ideal for couples/small groups who want one to one attention. In these sessions practitioners can focus on improving their technique and general alignment. Furthermore, private tuition will prepare you for coming to class and will benefit your self-practice at home. It will also deepen your understanding of yoga and the vital fundamental principles.
If you have an injury or ailment that prevents you from coming to class then private tuition yoga might be beneficial for you. It is always a good idea though to get approval from a medical practitioner before you begin your yoga practice.
